Birmingham, UK – Birmingham City University (BCU) has awarded a significant contract to PACT Solutions to deliver a transformational programme of improvements to its student record system. The contract award follows a rigorous competitive tender process and will run for up to five years. 

 

The project will support BCU in delivering its vision for a modern, efficient, and student-centred digital student record system. PACT Solutions will lead on the design and implementation of a new academic model and will introduce optimised processes across the student lifecycle—including admissions, enrolment, progression, and graduation. 

 

BCU’s decision to appoint PACT reflects the company’s proven track record of successful student record system transformations across the UK higher education sector. The partnership will enable the University to streamline its systems, improve data quality, reduce manual processing, and enhance the experience for both students and staff.

PACT Solutions will work closely with the University’s internal teams to co-develop a roadmap and deliver changes that align with BCU’s broader digital strategy and its 2030 Strategic Plan. The programme is expected to significantly reduce support burdens, increase automation, and ensure compliance with key regulatory requirements including HESA Data Futures.
