PACT Solutions is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

As a member of the SME Climate Hub and a recognised signatory of the UN Race to Zero campaign, we have pledged to halve our emissions by 2030 and disclose progress annually.

Carbon Reduction Targets and Initiatives

To continue progress toward Net Zero, PACT is implementing the following measures:

Scope 1 & 2

  • Transition to 100% renewable electricity in leased offices by January 2026.
  • Use of energy-efficient infrastructure and insulation at existing premises.

Scope 3

  • Minimised business travel through virtual collaboration; low-emission vehicles used
    only when necessary.
  • Public transport first travel policy and strategic scheduling of in-person meetings.
  • IT services provided by Microsoft, which has committed to 100% renewable energy
    by 2025 and being carbon negative by 2030.

Resource Efficiency

  • ISO 14001:2015 (in progress)
  • Use of digital tools to reduce paper waste.
  • Recycling and responsible e-waste disposal.
  • 90% reduction target in landfill waste.

Social and Ethical Sustainability

  • Fair labour practices for all employees and contractors.
  • Sustainable procurement: suppliers must comply with the Modern Slavery Act and
    demonstrate environmental policies.
  • Local community engagement via volunteering and pro bono support.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Annual carbon reports aligned with GHG Protocol standards.
  • Metrics monitored via the Equipoise Carbon Calculator.
  • Transparency through reporting to clients such as BCU and public reporting commitments.

Declaration and Sign-off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in compliance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.

It has been reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors of PACT Solutions.
