Introduction
This statement sets out PACT Solutions Ltd’s (“the Company”) commitment to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our business activities and supply chains. It is published in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
PACT Solutions recognises that modern slavery, in all its forms, is a serious violation of fundamental human rights. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.
Our Organisation
PACT Solutions is a UK-based digital transformation consultancy focused primarily on the higher education sector. We provide expert services in business process improvement, technology integration, data analysis, and change management. Our operations are based across England and Wales, with services delivered both on-site and remotely to UK universities and higher education institutions.
Our workforce comprises directly employed staff and a network of associate consultants engaged on a contractor basis. Our supply chain is primarily made up of UK-based professional services firms, cloud-based software vendors, and hardware suppliers.
Risk Assessment
We assess the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains to be low. Our primary reasons for this assessment are:
– Our operations are conducted entirely within the UK, where legal protections against modern slavery are well established
– We operate in the professional services sector, which is not typically associated with high modern slavery risk
– Our supply chain is predominantly composed of UK-based organisations
– We do not operate in high-risk geographies or industries
However, we acknowledge that indirect risks can exist within extended supply chains and we remain vigilant. Annual risk assessments are conducted by the Operations Director in consultation with the leadership team, focusing on supplier types and geographical risk factors.
Our Commitment

Due Diligence
PACT Solutions conducts due diligence on all new suppliers as part of our onboarding process. This includes an assessment of modern slavery risk based on geography, sector, and relationship type. Where concerns are identified, further review or escalation will follow.
All new contracts with suppliers and subcontractors include provisions requiring compliance with applicable modern slavery legislation. Project leads are responsible for assessing modern slavery risks when onboarding suppliers or subcontractors.

Our approach to modern slavery is supported by the following Company policies:
– Whistleblowing Policy
– Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
– Recruitment and Equal Opportunities Policy
– Grievance and Dispute Policy
These policies outline expected behaviour, ethical standards, and the mechanisms available to staff for reporting concerns.
Training & Awareness
All staff are required to complete annual training on recognising and reporting modern slavery risks. This training includes guidance on identifying warning signs of exploitation, understanding our supply chain risks, and knowing how to report concerns.
Performance Indicators
We measure the effectiveness of our approach through the following key indicators:
– 100% completion of annual modern slavery training by all staff
– Annual risk assessment of suppliers carried out by the Operations Director
– No substantiated reports of modern slavery in our business or supply chain
– Monitoring of supplier compliance with contractual expectations
